BOOM CHICKA POP PUMPKIN SPICE DRIZZLED KETTLE CORN

Welcome to day 13 of Tag Sale Tastes’ Pumpkinpalooza 2020!

Today’s featured pumpkin spice product is Boom Chicka Pop Pumpkin Spice Drizzled Kettle Corn:This is professed to be “Simply. Delicious. Boom.”  We’ll.  See.
The pumpkins on the package are subtle — a little band of gold pumpkins and leaves across the top of the package:

It’s got spices:I appreciate the positivity the snack promotes:  this is a “highly flavorful snack” that is “packed with positivity, not guilt,” in a “bright bag” that “radiates all of the love and fun” that went into the popcorn:Here’s the popcorn:

We loved this popcorn, which was surprising considering we don’t really like kettle corn.  Salty, sweet, crunchy, lightly-spiced — this was entirely addictive. I think maybe it was the nonfat dry milk and whole milk powder in it that made it taste like there was a bit of white chocolate in the coating.  This was an excellent pumpkin spice treat.  Boom, indeed!

ARCHER FARMS PUMPKIN SPICE CREME-FILLED ROLLED WAFERS

Welcome to day 12 of Tag Sale Tastes’ Pumpkinpalooza 2020!

Today’s pumpkin fare is Archer Farms Pumpkin Spice Creme-Filled Rolled Wafers, from Target:

Pumpkin is present on the tin:

They are pitched as “deliciously crisp cookies” that are “filled with comforting flavors”:

The ingredients don’t suggest anything pumpkin spice-y — banking it all on “natural flavor”:

And here they are:

Aren’t they cute with their little stripes that sort of hint at spice?  You know you want one.  And they were pretty good.  They had a mild cinnamon taste with a slightly musty nutmeg note, and the cream filling wasn’t overly sweet.  They were, as promised, “deliciously crisp,” although I wouldn’t go so far as to call them “comforting.”  All in all, these were a good little cookie, that would go nicely with a cup of coffee.
