Welcome to Day 4 of Tag Sale Tastes’ Pumpkinpalooza!
Today I went nuts and tried Planters Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Almonds:
As the label states, these are almonds seasoned with pumpkin and spices. Sure enough, the ingredients, to Planters’ credit, include almonds, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and pumpkin powder. And for those with nut allergies, just in case they missed the fact that these are, in fact, flavored ALMONDS, the label advises “Contains: Almond,” and that these were manufactured on equipment that processes “tree nuts.” So no excuses, you’ve been warned. Twice.
Here’s what the nuts look like:
These nuts were just “meh.” Not bad, not good. Just “meh.” Definitely not worth the money or calories. No one is going to be saying “Oh my gosh, these are soooooo good, I can’t stop eating them, get them away from me,” if you know what I mean. On second thought, they were bad.
Rating: 1 pumpkin (out of 5)
I haven’t seen the Pumpkin Spice Milanos, but I will be on the lookout. Pens would probably taste better than some of these products. The Via Pumpkin Spice Latte almost caused me to abandon Pumpkinpalooza.
You are totally cracking me up here. I assume you have seen the new Pepperidge Farm Milanos in Pumpkin Spice? Really. I predict a line of Pumpkin-spice scented Bic pens coming soon.
